Locked horns detail
Front row
Rams
This piece was commissioned by Gary Reynolds Chairman of Rams rugby club to mark their promotion to National Division 1, the third tier of English rugby.
The new primary brand of the club is the ram motive. My proposal which was agreed depicts the front row of the scrum with 3 rams locked horns facing the opposition.
A key component in the clubs success is that it has at it's core an ethos of a closely knit family of players. This philosophy extends not only to the first team and other mens teams, but also right across all the teams, including the womens and mini and juniors sections, a collective whole.
The media is charcoal and pastel on multiple layers of torn pieces of watercolour paper.
